Class is in session.

You'll actually learn something today.

Welcome to The VolleyBrains Weekly.  We're mixing it up this week...

Let's get our volleyball on.

Here's what we've got this week

ACTUAL PRACTICE STUFF...

Look, today we wanted to mix things up.

On our 'main job' ➡️ volleybrains.com we just posted a new 'Learning Path' article with Lauren Bertolacci.

Lauren is the head coach of the Swiss women's national team and pro club team Viteos NUC Neuchatel

In this week's newsletter we're going to sharpen our volleyball brains a bit.

In the article coach Bertolacci goes over 2-afternoon practice sessions and explains to us where she puts an emphasis on, what the important keys are her players need to pick up, how she is proactive in time and practice management, and much more...

As a free preview (the VolleyBrains members get full access to both full practice sessions) we edited 3 clips and share them today.

  1. 'Pressure Side Out', a 6 on 6 side out exercise where Lauren explains the in's and out's of. (5 minutes)

2. The conclusions of the study Lauren made on 'pressing' in your block actions. (2 minutes)

    3. 'Setter Better', a serve receive exercise putting an extra layer of emphasis (or pressure) on the quality of the set. (2 minutes)

We don't do a lot of obvious asks to become a paid VolleyBrains member, but if you loved the insights you got today...just ask your club, school or college to invest in your coaching education.

If you're part of a larger group of coaches...we also offer group discounts from 5 coaches onwards.

There won't be an edition of the VolleyBrains Weekly next weekend. Don't be sad now...you'll eventually get over it. We're back on the last weekend of March.✌️✌️

      That's a wrap. Have a great week!

If you like this newsletter, please forward to other coaches and players. It only takes 10 seconds. Can't thank you enough! ❤️
